Design & Build

Le Streamer gives Métronome’s network platform its own mechanically and electrically optimized enclosure. Separating the streaming and digital-output circuitry from the D/A converter reduces shared power-supply demands and allows each component to be optimized for its specific role.

Its substantial steel and aluminium chassis matches the rest of the Classica range. Internal power regulation and carefully managed digital signal paths are designed to provide a clean and stable digital signal to an external converter. Electronic boards are hand-soldered, and each unit is assembled and tested in France.

System Pairing

Le Streamer is the natural network partner for Le DAC 3, creating a modular Métronome digital front end. I²S provides the widest format support, while AES/EBU and S/PDIF allow straightforward integration with other high-quality D/A converters.

It is particularly well suited to listeners who want streaming and conversion housed in separate optimized components, with the freedom to upgrade either independently.
