Design & Build

DSAS combines dedicated music-server hardware with an audio-optimized Linux platform and the Audirvāna playback engine. Its internal NVMe storage, network interfaces and USB audio stage are configured specifically for high-fidelity playback rather than general-purpose computing.

The USB output incorporates galvanic isolation and reclocking to reduce ground noise and timing errors before the signal reaches the D/A converter. Linear power supplies provide clean operating rails, while the compact Digital Sharing chassis matches DSS 2, DSC Mini and DST.

System Pairing

DSAS connects directly to a USB-equipped D/A converter, including DSC Mini, Le DAC 3, AQWO 2 or c|AQWO 2. It can play music stored internally, on attached USB drives or elsewhere on the network, alongside streaming services supported through Audirvāna.

It can also stream to compatible UPnP/DLNA network players. DSAS is intentionally focused on music storage, library management and playback; it does not include an internal D/A converter or native CD-ripping functionality.
