Design & Build
Ultra² represents the highest performance level in Diamond Series 2. Its analogue models use Silver-Gold² conductors in coaxial geometries with Kapton and Teflon insulation and silver-plated-copper shielding.
The network cable uses a quadruple-twisted-pair technique with individually shielded pairs and an additional outer shield. This construction helps protect the data connection from high-frequency interference in network-based audio systems.
System Pairing
Ultra² is intended for highly resolving systems requiring the finest Diamond Series 2 analogue, phono, speaker and power connections.
The 100 Mbps network cable can connect network switches, music servers and streamers. Managed switch ports should be configured for 100 Mbps or automatic negotiation.
